Sea2Sea Day 6 - Loch Ness Stage 2

Day 6 saw Iain push deeper into Loch Ness on the second stage of this iconic stretch. Facing an uncommon northerly wind, conditions were far from easy and added an extra layer of difficulty to the challenge.

Despite the headwinds, Iain powered through more than 11.5km before finishing the day beneath the backdrop of Urquhart Castle. Tomorrow he continues his journey north with Dores firmly in sight.

The fundraising effort has now surpassed 75% of the £60,000 target - an incredible milestone. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has supported the Sea2Sea Challenge and its three brilliant charities: Crohn’s & Colitis UK, the British Heart Foundation, and Mikeysline.
