Day 5 marked the start of one of the toughest stages of the Sea2Sea Challenge as Iain took on the first stretch of Loch Ness - a daunting 36km in total length.
Setting off just north of Fort Augustus and covered significant distance passing Invermoriston, on a day that demanded resilience & grit. While the winds eased compared to previous days, the water remained bitterly cold and challenging.
Fundraising continues to inspire every stroke, with donations now approaching the £40,000 mark. This outstanding achievement will provide crucial funds to support Crohn’s & Colitis UK, the British Heart Foundation and Mikeysline.
