Sea2Sea Day 1 - Challenge Underway

And he's off!

The Sea2Sea challenge is officially underway, with Iain Sinclair setting off this morning from Corpach Marina on his epic 60-mile swim across the Caledonian Canal.

Day 1 saw Iain tackle one of the most iconic stretches of the route, passing through the eight locks of Neptune’s Staircase before continuing past Moy and Gairlochy Swing Bridges. Supported by his dedicated team throughout, he covered 13km before finishing the day in Gairlochy.

The fundraising effort has gathered incredible momentum, with more than £31,000 raised - passing the halfway mark of the £60,000 target. The fundraising is in support of Crohn’s & Colitis UK, the British Heart Foundation, and Mikeysline.

With spirits high, Iain now turns his focus to Day 2 of the challenge.
